Shipping
Sarastea ships orders within Finland and internationally. We process orders as quickly as possible.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive shipping or tracking information if tracking is included in the selected delivery method.
Shipping within Finland
Standard Shipping – €7.00
Estimated delivery time: 5–8 business days.
Express Shipping – €10.00
Estimated delivery time: 3–5 business days.
Free Standard Shipping on orders over €130.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by postal delays, busy delivery periods or other circumstances outside Sarastea’s control.
International Shipping
We ship internationally to available destinations.
Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout based on the destination country and selected delivery method.
Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, taxes or other import charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the price paid to Sarastea unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Secondhand & One-of-a-Kind Items
A large part of Sarastea’s collection consists of pre-owned, secondhand and one-of-a-kind items.
Secondhand products may show normal signs of previous use. We aim to describe the condition of every item as accurately as possible and disclose any known flaws or other important details in the product description and photos.
Please check the product photos, description, size and measurements carefully before placing your order.
Normal signs of use that have been clearly described or shown before purchase are part of the condition of the secondhand item.
Buying a secondhand item does not in itself remove the consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal when purchasing online.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the order, without giving a reason.
You must notify Sarastea of your decision to withdraw within the 14-day withdrawal period.
Simply returning an item or failing to collect a shipment does not constitute a valid withdrawal notice.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, the product must be returned no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice.
The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item. Sarastea does not provide free return shipping or prepaid return labels for normal withdrawals.
The customer may inspect and try on the product in the same way as would reasonably be possible in a physical store.
If a product has been handled or used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, and its value has decreased as a result, Sarastea may be entitled to deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value from the refund.
How to Cancel or Withdraw From an Order
You can notify us of your decision to withdraw from your purchase by using the cancellation function provided in our online store or by sending us a clear withdrawal notice.
Your notice should include:
- Your name
- Your order number
- The product or products you wish to return
- Your email address or other contact information
You do not need to provide a reason for the withdrawal.

Returning Your Item
Please contact Sarastea before sending your return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
The customer is responsible for packaging the returned item appropriately and for the direct cost of return shipping when exercising the normal 14-day right of withdrawal.
We recommend keeping your return shipping receipt or other proof of shipment until your refund has been completed.
Refunds
When an entire order is validly withdrawn, Sarastea will refund the payments received for the products as well as the original delivery cost up to the amount of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by Sarastea.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as Express Shipping, the additional cost of that delivery method will not be refunded.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise expressly agreed.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice.
However, Sarastea may withhold the refund until the returned item has been received or you have provided evidence that the item has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Incorrect or Faulty Items
If you receive the wrong product or believe that an item has a defect that was not disclosed in the product description or photos, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include your order number and, where helpful, photos showing the issue.
We will review the matter and provide further instructions.
If the product has a defect for which Sarastea is legally responsible or the wrong product was delivered, Sarastea will cover the reasonable return costs where required by applicable consumer law.
Your statutory consumer rights regarding defective products are not affected by this returns policy.
